Ambassadors of Peace and Friendship Group (APFG) and System of Peace Culture (SPC)

The International Society for Bilingual Kids (ISBKids) has been registered in Zurich, Switzerland for over two decades. Due to the expansion of its activities, the Ambassadors of Peace and Friendship Group (APFG) was established to promote the culture of peace and humanitarian actions through literary, cultural, and artistic initiatives. Over the years, APFG has expanded its reach internationally, fostering intercultural dialogue and respect for diversity.

APFG’s Mission and Global Outreach
As a non-governmental and independent organization, APFG has been actively involved in education, literature, and the arts to spread the message of peace and friendship worldwide. With deep cultural roots and a commitment to global unity, the organization has conducted initiatives across multiple countries, including:

  • Intangible heritage workshops on storytelling and peace in Germany
  • Painting and storytelling festivals in India
  • Theatrical performances in Austria, France, Malaysia, and Singapore

Recognizing that children and women are among the most vulnerable in society, APFG has also implemented peace education programs to instill values of harmony, coexistence, and environmental responsibility from a young age.

Key Achievements and International Recognition
In its 15 years of activity, APFG has hosted numerous peace, culture, science, and art-focused meetings at the United Nations Centre in Vienna (2014-2015) and the United Nations Centre in Tehran (2016-2020). During the pandemic (2020-2021), APFG adapted to virtual platforms to continue its work globally. A book compiling research and articles from these sessions has been published, further solidifying its contributions to peacebuilding.

To expand its impact, ISBKids founded the System of Peace Culture (SPC) as a dedicated initiative to organize global events aligned with international peace-related observances. SPC aims to foster dialogue among cultures through literature, art, and education, reinforcing APFG’s overarching mission.

Youth and Children’s Initiatives
APFG’s commitment to peace education extends to young audiences. Since 2011, the group has spearheaded child-focused projects, including:

  • The Peace & Friendship Ambassador Program for children aged 4 to 14, engaging them in intercultural storytelling, arts, and global travel to promote humanitarian values.
  • “My Story, Your Drawing, and Our Book” – a collaborative initiative featuring children’s artwork and storytelling from around the world.
  • “Iranian Stories from a Global Perspective” – an upcoming Encyclopedia of Iranian Myths, highlighting Iran’s cultural legacy in a universal context.

Additionally, APFG has partnered with the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults Institution, the Iranian Art Museum Garden, and other cultural organizations to implement its educational projects.

Looking Ahead: APFG’s Vision for 2025
In 2025, APFG is set to expand its mission through new literary, artistic, and cultural programs, aiming to strengthen global friendships, promote peace awareness, and empower the next generation through education and the arts.
